Monet's Garden

Here is a scene from Claude Monet's Garden in France. This is where he painted the famous Water Lilies. Our tour guide told us he hired a man to brush off the soot from the lilies each morning, so he could paint them.

I spend hours taking photographs throughout the garden area and saw this worker in a boat and thought it would add interest to the piece.

I painted this using oils on canvas.

I will also upload the actual photo I used as reference.

New iPad

I just got my new iPad today. It is really nice. I don't have to type anymore. I can just talk to it and it types the words for me. Images are great especially here on deviant art.

The camera feature is great. It also records video at 1080p. You can also upload photos directly to Facebook or videos to YouTube.

I look forward to learning more of the features of the iPad.
